Christopher W. Martella, D.O.

Dr. Christopher Martella is a graduate of Drexel University and the Philadelphia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Martella has practiced emergency medicine for over 20 years in trauma centers and community hospitals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Wyoming and Colorado. He was the Director of the Emergency Department for many years at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, New Jersey, and most recently served at the Director of the Emergency Department at the Cheyenne Veteran’s Hospital.

Dr. Martella and his family moved to the West in 2005 to fulfill their dream of living in Colorado and to support his wife’s career as a scientist with the federal government. Dr. Martella enjoys the challenges of urgent care medicine and the opportunity to become a helpful part of people’s lives when they need it most. His experience as an emergency medicine physician has prepared him to handle just about anything that walks through the door.

In his free time, Dr. Martella is an avid mountain biker and skier and enjoys cooking for his three teenagers and wife.

Dr. Martella is board certified in Emergency Medicine. He joined the Urgent Care clinic at Associates in Family Medicine in January of 2014.
