Ian D. Brickl, M.D.

Although Dr. Ian Brickl is a relatively new addition to AFM, he is not new to Northern Colorado. Dr. Brickl has been with the Salud Clinic in Fort Collins since 2004 and he brings a wealth of education and practice experience. He was raised in England and attended Cambridge University where he obtained a B.A and M.A. in electrical engineering. He worked for several years in industry and academia as an electrical engineer, received an M.S. in electrical and biomedical engineering at the University of Colorado in 1996 and then graduated from the CU Medical School in 2000. He completed his residency training at the Family Medicine Center with Poudre Valley Health System from 2001 to 2004.

Dr. Brickl is fluent in Spanish and enjoys caring for Spanish speaking patients. His interests include preventive care (particularly the prevention of obesity and diabetes), pediatric care and OB care. In his spare time Dr Brickl enjoys traveling and spending both outdoor and indoor activities with his wife and 2 children.
