Michael F. Colip, M.D.

Dr. Michael Colip was born and raised in Norton, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University (go Cats!) in 1991, and received his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas in 1995. Dr. Colip completed his family medicine residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Wichita, KS before moving to Colorado in 1998. He practiced full spectrum family medicine in Louisville, CO and then Sterling, CO until 2005. He then changed gears a bit to work full time emergency medicine in rural Wyoming for the next 8 years. He joined the Urgent Care clinic at Associates in Family Medicine full time in September of 2013. Dr. Colip is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Colip enjoys all aspects of urgent medical care, particularly treating sports injuries, repairing lacerations, pediatric injuries and illnesses, and enjoys simply helping people by treating their injuries and acute illnesses to get them back to health and living their lives to the fullest.

In his free time, Dr. Colip enjoys spending time with his wife, Nanette, and their three kids. He loves to bike, hike, ski, and travel with his family.
