Hi everyone!

I am so excited to be a part of the new Care Team at AFM! My role on the team represents a new era in health care, and in bridging the gap between behavioral and physical health. As a coordinator, I am committed to building a strong and supportive counseling component into the AFM team. As a therapist, I operate from, and strongly believe in the power of change, healing, hope, and kindness. And I am lucky enough to get to wear both hats here!

Before joining AFM,I had worked at Touchstone Health Partners for 15 years as a therapist on the Adult Outpatient team. My experience includes 20+ years of individual therapy, group therapy, case management, clinical supervision, and various administrative duties related to triage and crisis management. My education background includes a BA in Sociology(1993),and an MA in Agency Counseling(1998),both from UNC in Greeley(go Bears!).

On a personal note, I grew up in Colorado Springs. I moved to Fort Collins in 1996 for graduate school, and could never bear to leave. I am so blessed with a wonderful family, amazing husband, and beautiful daughter. Like any good Coloradoan, I love being outside-camping, hiking, boating, golf(not very good golf), gardening, and riding cruisers around town with my family. And I could not be more grateful for all of it.
