Mark S. Unger, M.D.

Dr. Mark Unger grew up in New York and then moved to Florida where he completed his undergraduate and medical education at the University of Miami. After completing residency in Greeley, he and his wife traveled further westward, working in Washington state and Alaska while looking for a place to settle down. They realized that Colorado was the place for them, and moved back here in 1997.

For nine years Dr. Unger worked in north Fort Collins at what is currently the Salud Family Health Center. During that time he also worked with the Family Medicine Center Residency Program precepting residents in the clinic and hospital. In 2006, he joinedAFM and continues to enjoy the full spectrum of Family Medicine including pediatrics and adult medicine including geriatrics. He performs a variety of office-based procedures including colposcopy, no-scalpel vasectomy and LEEP.

When not working. Dr. Unger enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He and his family like to take advantage of the Colorado outdoors in any season.
