Monica T. Serrano-Toy, M.D.

Dr. Serrano-Toy (“Dr. Toy”) grew up in Dayton, Ohio, receiving an undergraduate degree from Wright State University in Dayton and a graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. After several years in corporate banking, she went on to medical school, earning a degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed a residency in family practice at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 1999 and then served three years in the Air Force at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. She has been a resident of Fort Collins since 2000 and joined Fort Collins Family Physicians in 2002. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, and certified as a Natural Family Planning Medical Consultant (NaPro Technology). Married with three children, she enjoys hiking, camping, jogging and skiing, as well as crafts and spending time with her family.
