David S. Schmidt, M.D.

Dr. Dave Schmidt was born and raised in the Chicago area before studying psychology at the University of Colorado. He returned to Chicago to work in the insurance industry for 5 years before attending Rush Medical College for his medical studies. He completed his residency at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Center, joining Associates in Family Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Schmidt’s medical practice incorporates obstetrics, pediatrics and adult and geriatric medicine. His particular interests are in orthopedics, sports medicine, women’s health issues and disease prevention.
Dr. Schmidt performs a wide range of office procedures including vasectomy, colposcopy and LEEP.
Dr. Schmidt lives in Fort Collins with his wife and children. They enjoy the outdoors, music, and the culinary arts. All new restaurant reviews are appreciated. Try to stump Dr. Schmidt with music
