Floyd V. Stephens, M.D.
Dr. Floyd Stephens was born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1973. He was admitted to the Academic Honorary Phi Eta Sigma Fraternity and graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1977. He performed his residency in family practice at Ball Memorial Hospital, where he served as chief resident in 1980.
Dr. Stephens joined AFM in 1980. He is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and by the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of the Larimer County and Colorado Medical Societies, as well as having served as chairman of the Family Practice Department at PVH. Dr. Stephens enjoys the full scope of family medicine, including adult care and pediatrics, with a special interest in dermatologic conditions. He performs office surgical and diagnostic procedures including skin surgery, vasectomy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colposcopy.
Dr. Stephens is married to Kim. He pursues golf, hiking, and biking. He has a strong commitment to preserving and protecting our global and local environment.
