JD Wideman, D.O.
Accepting new patients
Dr. JD Wideman was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. She studied biology and literature at San Francisco State University and attended Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. She completed her residency in Family Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI with Michigan State University and completed specialized training in osteopathic manipulation. Her osteopathic training centered around viewing the body holistically and helping to restore a state of balance and function.
Her professional interests include preventative medicine and osteopathic manipulation. She is interested in every facet of family medicine, enjoys caring for people of all ages and backgrounds, and appreciates the diversity family medicine provides. Complementary/integrative medicine is of growing interest to Dr. Wideman and is often a mode of treatment she explores with her patients along with more traditional approaches.
Dr. Wideman moved to Colorado with her husband, Eric, an Emergency Medicine Physician, and three children Jack, Paige, and Max. In her spare time she plays with her vivacious children, husband, and pets Leonard and Memphis. She also enjoys literature, yoga, music, travel, and long distance running and loves living and working in Fort Collins.
