Julie Monaco, M.D.
Accepting new patients
Dr. Julie Monaco was born and raised in a small town in upstate New York. She followed her rural roots and pursued an undergraduate degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Her interest in the environment and how it affects our health led her to attend Albany Medical College in New York where she graduated in 2002. After completing residency training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 2005, she headed west to Fort Collins to pursue her interest in obstetrics and desire to provide care to the underserved. After practicing at the Salud Family Health Center for four years and precepting Family Medicine residents at Poudre Valley Hospital, she joined Associates in Family Medicine in October 2009.
Dr. Monaco provides full spectrum family care with particular interests in obstetrics and preventative and complimentary medicine. When she and her husband are not working, they enjoy exercising together, taking their dog Molé for walks and trying to keep up with their daughter.
